At New Relic, I had the unique opportunity to bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI technology and practical user application. By crafting documentation for their LLM integration, I demonstrated my technical writing skills and ability to adapt to rapidly evolving technologies. This project fueled my passion for exploring the intersection of AI and user experience.
At New Relic, I drove customer engagement and retention by focusing on a critical transition point: setting up alerts within the APM product. This involved collaborating across departments to gather deep product knowledge and conducting user research to identify areas of friction. The documentation I created streamlines a complex process and positions New Relic as an essential partner in maintaining optimal application performance.
New Relic is a robust observability tool, but its power can easily be lost in a sea of acronyms and jargon. Whenever possible, I try to bring a narrative voice to difficult concepts. Stories, even simple ones, provide a reader with a strong enough foundation to untangle even the most challenging technical products, like New Relic's key transactions.
Led the transition of the New Relic documentation team to an improved agile methodology. I developed training materials and facilitated workshops to ensure the successful adoption of the new processes. The result was a more adaptable, responsive team and improved alignment with product development cycles.
